Roger Dickie New Zealand Ltd is at the forefront of New Zealand forestry. Formed in 1971, the company has established a substantial number of forests.

Since 1990, Roger Dickie New Zealand Ltd has deliberately concentrated their activities in northern Hawke’s Bay on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. The region produces New Zealand’s highest forest growth rates. Quality land is available at reasonable prices. This is the foundation for profitable forestry investment.

Hawke’s Bay has an established timber based infrastructure including pulp mill, saw mills, and a tri-board and plywood mill. The advantages of this area are further enhanced by the close proximity to two log export ports (Napier and Gisborne). Gisborne now has the second largest log port in New Zealand, ahead of Nelson and Whangarei^*.

There’s also an experienced and motivated work force available for contract and production work. Our investments are unique in the New Zealand forestry investment market.
