Coldstream Downs Dairy Farm is a 349.9 ha (864 acres) property located in the Waimea Valley district, 30km from Gore. The farm is a quality, flat to easy undulating property that was converted from sheep farming in 2001. It has a modern 60 bale rotary dairy shed, and a good range of farm buildings and houses.
The farm was purchased and syndicated by Roger Dickie in 2005. This allowed a number of investors to participate, not only in the New Zealand dairy industry, but also to indirectly own a share of an investment in tangible assets, prime dairy land, Fonterra shares, livestock and plant.
The farm is managed by a Variable Order Share Milker.
