Hereford

Hereford Forest Partnership was the 34th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2003 Hereford had an estimated net stocked area of 178.8 hectares.

The Hereford Forest Partnership was formed June 1994. Planting of the property took place in the winter of 1994 with a further 3.7 hectares being planted in 1996. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2021.

Hereford Forest is situated at Te Reinga in Northern Hawkes Bay. The Hereford Forest Partnership is part of the 2,282 hectares of Ruakituri Station located 75 km South West of Gisborne on Ruakituri Valley Road of No.36 State Highway. Hereford Forest is one of the nine forest partnerships on Ruakituri Station. Ruakituri station bounds the Wairoa and Ruakituri rivers. Partners are welcome to visit the property at any time.
