Ormsby Forest Partnership was the 24th forest established by Roger Dickie. In 2003 Ormsby had an estimated net stocked area of 225.4 hectares.

The Ormsby Forest Partnership was created in October 1993. In 1993 planting of a 22.9 hectare area took place with the balance completed in winter of 1994. Harvesting is forecast to commence in 2020.

Ormsby Forest is situated at Ardkeen on State Highway 28, 25km west of Wairoa. Ormsby forest has direct access on State Highway 28. Partners are welcome to visit the property at any time.
